In 2012 I created this blog to share a trail by fire journey, as my best friend Katie and I traveled America's Great Loop aboard a Cal 27 for two years. . . . . . . . .
And so today the blog remains, but the story has changed and so has the website !
You can find the sequel here:

I have met my other half, Luke. Together sailed across the North Atlantic aboard my fathers Pearson Invicta. Michigan to England. From my home to his. And now just like most of you... we are working out a way to sustain this sailing lifestyle.
Hope you’ve put the baby shark back into the water alive guys? Maybe his mom will miss her kid.otherwise..
Way to Go! You guys’ infectious good attitude shines through the bugs and the crap, and in pictures like these, it is apparent you are never, ever, going to be the same again!
Nice little black tip shark. They put up quite a fight for their size! Enjoying your blog from the Great Lakes region.
Nice catch girls. Put a fillet knife to that black tip they’re delicious. Be sure to buddy up close with the Captain and maybe some locals so someday Ben, Tucker and I can experience fishing the worlds best waters with ya.
